Based on the Agile and Scrum principles, Agile Commander enables programmers to organize individual tasks and organize their projects more efficiently. The software is intended mainly for independent programmers and small teams. The kanban board it places at your disposal makes it quite easy to follow different stages of a project, keep track of bugs and make sure that nothing is overlooked.

The software is free to try, with some minor limitations, but nothing that would prevent you from making a relevant evaluation. It is available for Windows and Linux and it can be installed in no time. The hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any special tools or services.

Tasks can be represented by kanban cards, which may contain a large amount of information. Cards can be placed in one of five columns, on the main user interface, to indicate their current state. You can have new tasks, accepted ones, tasks that are in progress or done, as well as deleted cards. As your project moves forward, you can click and drag your cards from one column to another, to change their current state.

Creating cards is a simple matter of typing a title and a description. Additionally, you can specify a state and a time estimation and set the card type according to what the task involves. Cards can be marked as features, bugs, infrastructure items, releases, milestones or miscellaneous. Furthermore, the cards that are displayed on the main interface can be expanded, to reveal options for adding a checklist, links or comments.

All the changes you make can be reviewed on a separate window, which comes with a rich set of filters. What's more, the software is capable of generating statistics and charts, based on what cards you create, their type, how you organize them and so on. Also, the generated statistics can be exported to ODT immediately, without any effort.

When it comes to organizing projects that involve coding, Agile Commander is certainly an excellent solution for individual programmers or entire teams alike.
